Lower Commission

Isn’t The Commission Level Always The Same?
Most of the time the answer is yes. The standard commission rate is 6%, with the listing agent and the selling agent each receiving 3% of the total sale. For example: if a house is sold for $100,000, the listing agent and selling agent each receive 3% of $100,000, which is $3,000 per person. In most cases, we can negotiate a lower commission. Let’s say we were able to negotiate the commission down to 2.5% - which is not uncommon. In this instance the agent would only receive $2,500, saving you $500. If the house is sold for $200,000, the money saved doubles to $1,000. And if you use YOUR AGENT CONNECTION to find an agent to sell your house for $200,000 and buy a new one for $200,000, you save $2,000. What would you do with the extra money?

How Does YOUR AGENT CONNECTION Have The Power To Negotiate?
Our ability to negotiate on your behalf stems from our size and our lack of affiliation to any single real estate agency. Because our data base takes us into most agencies across the country, we have built a network of top agents who are willing to work with committed buyers and sellers. It is worth it for the agent to take a little less money if they feel they are working with motivated buyers and sellers. Since we are not affiliated with any particular agency, we are not forced to give you their agent under the agency’s terms. The agents work under your terms.
